What are concentrated growth factors and how do they work?
Concentrated Growth Factors (CGF) are used to accelerate the healing process of dental implant treatments and anti-ageing treatment. CGF are often used to accelerate the healing process of bone treatments and implants or to enhance the treatment of skin procedures.
How long will I take to recover?
After receiving treatment with Concentrated Growth Factors, you can immediately resume your daily activities. CGF is a non-invasive treatment, you may however incur some light bruising and/or experience swelling or tenderness around the surface of the injection. This will disappear completely within several days.
What is the process? What is involved?
CGF procedures use the patient’s own blood and their bodies regenerative abilities to enhance the growth of bone and soft tissue. The stem cells and growth factors are harvested from your blood – their purpose is to create and regenerate cells – this is done through a process of cell separation – along with platelets. The blood is then injected back into the area of treatment and is used to achieve the desired results of the individual. This is a comfortable and complete safe procedure as it uses natural cells from the patients own blood.
